Fusion Series

The ‘Fusion’ (2024) series of abstract digital prints brings together several aspects of Russell's work, presenting the fluid shapes and vibrant layered colours from recent handmade monoprinting inside structure and compositions of varied geometric shapes. Black is used as a contrasting colour, serving to intensify the colours within the individual shapes. 

The overall result is an innovative digital re-imagining and re-working of the outputs of the handmade printmaking process.
